Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00, 52 weeks per year
We are looking for a CIPD qualified and experienced HR professional to cover a period of maternity leave taking responsibility for leading the department and managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle. The department consists of a team of 2 highly committed HR professionals who work with a focus on making Woldingham School a great place to work.
Your proven HR experience and ability to build strong relationships will allow you to work closely with the School Leadership Team and managers on all HR activities including recruitment and selection, performance management, reward and learning and development.
With exceptional people skills and a positive attitude, you will need to quickly immerse yourself into the academic year; your strong organisational skills means you can calmly juggle a busy and varied workload. This is a great opportunity to further embed HR at the school and make a difference to the provision of education for young people.
Woldingham is a happy and successful Catholic boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18 and is firmly established as one of the top girls’ independent schools in the UK, outperforming many schools that are far more selective in their admissions process. Central to this achievement is Woldingham’s academic enrichment and extra-curricular programmes, pastoral support and caring community. Close to London, yet in an outstandingly beautiful rural setting, Woldingham has a strong community and culture building on a proud heritage that stretches back 175 years. We are committed to an exciting future that is underpinned by fresh ideas, an innovative spirit and state-of-the-art facilities.
Salary: Competitive. All staff receive free lunches and refreshments.
