Job overview
An opportunity has arisen whereby we are now looking for a highly motivated, inspirational full-time Head of Latin to teach children from Year 5 to Year 8. A vibrant and lively approach will be important, with an awareness of the need to make the subject accessible and enjoyable for all children. The successful candidate will have energy, enthusiasm, initiative and excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as possessing a good sense of humour.
The teaching of other subjects, including Greek, will also be welcomed but not essential. A willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of the School is essential.

Mowden Hall is an independent co-educational boarding and day school of 200 children from age 3 – 13 situated in the Northumberland countryside, fifteen miles west of Newcastle.
