An opportunity has arisen for an imaginative, creative and self-motivated professional to transform our traditional school libraries into modern and effective research hubs. As Head of Library Services you would have responsibility for two libraries located in our senior schools.
The schools are committed to the development of their students into independent and self-sufficient learners, and you play can play a pivotal role in helping this aim to become a reality. We want our libraries to be a welcoming and inspiring spaces where students can access information in its full variety of forms, and where they can work individually and collaboratively to develop strong study skills and develop a true love of learning.
This role will require you to work 37 hours a week Monday to Friday during School term time plus an additional two weeks which equates to 37 working weeks each year. You will have a small team of Librarians to manage across both school sites.
