The Academies are looking to appoint a real life superhero to lead our team of heroes currently teaching in the Mathematics department at the Academies. The Head of Mathematics and superhero post will lead a team of highly motivated individuals with a range of experiences and expertise. Some can fly, some can do magic and some can even see through walls. All of them can teach mathematics and seek continuous improvement.

The successful superhero will be expected to deliver Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 with a proven track record of raising attainment. We are looking for a conscientious, dedicated team player who has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics with the ability to enthuse students and staff into continuous improvement. If you know Super Ted or Superman that is an obvious advantage when applying for the role.

The successful applicant would also have the opportunity to work closely with the Academy sponsor and mathematics subject advisor across the South.
