The Governors at Reading School have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Head of Maths to join this successful and thriving department with effect from January 2020 (or later). The successful candidate will lead a motivated, specialist team who support students to achieve excellent results at GCSE and A-Level. The person appointed will be an outstanding teacher with the skills and motivation to lead and manage a department to help students achieve the best that is possible. 

 Reading School is a highly successful selective boys’ state school, with an excellent reputation locally, nationally and internationally. This reputation is based on our core values ‘Excellence, Integrity, Leadership and Community’, and our commitment to continuous improvement. 

The Head of Maths will be responsible for the leadership and management of this vital area of the school’s curriculum.  Maths and Further Maths is our most popular subject at A Level.
