Head of Maths Faculty (Secondary)

International School Brunei requires a talented and ambitious individual to lead our successful Mathematics Department. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a dynamic department focusing on the highest possible standards of teaching and learning. IB experience is preferred but not essential.     

Established in 1964, International School Brunei (ISB) has over 50 years of experience as a non-profit, vibrant, inclusive school. Today ISB has over 1100 day and boarding students from 42 different nationalities and highly qualified teachers from all over the globe. Academic results are excellent, allowing ISB graduates to gain entry to top universities all over the world.    

Mathematics is compulsory for all students in Secondary, and we offer a range of courses to suit the needs of our students. KS3 Mathematics is guided by the British National Curriculum, at IGCSE we offer both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics (for the most able) using Cambridge International Examinations, and at IBDP we offer HL, SL and Maths Studies – with planning underway to implement the new IBDP Maths curricula in August 2019.
