Job overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maths Teacher to lead and manage this successful department.  The ability to teach at all levels up to Oxbridge is essential.  The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of this busy day/boarding school.  In addition to an excellent degree/ relevant qualifications and strong record as a classroom practitioner, the Applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically, organise other people, communicate needs and plans to both the department and Senior Leadership team and to motivate others. Strong administrative skills will be essential.

Harrogate Ladies’ College was founded 125 years ago and is an independent school with a Church of England foundation offering day, boarding and weekly boarding. The School is a member of the Girls’ School Association teaching boys and girls aged 2-10 and girls 11 -18 years.  Harrogate Ladies’ College was deemed to be Excellent in all areas in the ISI inspection of 2017.
