We are looking for a talented and committed Curriculum Leader of Modern Foreign Languages, with a passion for languages and the ability to inspire our staff and students.  For the right candidate this is a fantastic opportunity to reshape our MFL department in order to broaden the cultural awareness and learning of our students.

Applicants should have a proven record of raising uptake and outcomes in Modern Foreign Languages.  This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing department in a growing school where languages are valued and enjoyed by students.  All students study two languages at KS3 and over 70% choose to continue at GCSE.  The department offers French, German and Spanish.  Candidates must have the ability to teach a combination of at least two of these languages to GCSE.


Everest Community Academy is a mixed comprehensive school that in February 2020 was graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted citing that the school had made rapid improvement and the students ‘loved learning’.
