Head of Music (Part-Time – 0.6)

Applications are welcome from passionate music teachers to teach and manage a thriving department. The successful candidate will be someone who has taught in KS1, 2 and above or a graduate who would like to train for a PGCE/QTS/NQT.  Piano is essential as there will be the requirement for accompanying leading rehearsals for choirs and ensembles. The department has excellent resources with a well-equipped Music room.  Music at Cumnor is outstanding and we have a long tradition of successful competitions and wonderful performances.    There will be opportunities to work closely and collaboratively with our partner school, Cumnor House Boys’ School

This is a highly fulfilling and challenging role in which to develop your career. A willingness to become fully involved in extra-curricular activities is also expected. 

The school has its own competitive salary scale and incentive allowances.
