Required for January/April 2020

We are seeking a new Head of Music to teach Music across the Primary and Secondary age ranges, including GCSE, and to produce high-quality musical concerts and work in collaboration with the Head of Drama on musical productions.  Candidates wishing to apply should have a passion for delivering engaging, boy-centred learning.

A willingness to become involved with all aspects of the school’s life is essential, as is a desire to explore innovative ways of getting the very best from boys.

Thorpe House School is an all-through independent school in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, teaching boys aged 4-16. The Lower School (up to Year 5) operates on its own site and the Middle School (Years 6 to 8) and the Upper School (Years 9 to 11) are based on the main site.  The school has excellent facilities including a seven-acre games field, covered swimming pool and a new multi-purpose hall offering additional classroom space and increased indoor sporting opportunities.
