After notification of retirement of our current highly successful Head of Music, the Directors and Principal of Radlett Preparatory School are seeking to appoint a new inspirational and dedicated Head of Music to fill this position. The post will start from the 1st September 2019, or earlier if possible and will be a permanent, full-time position. We have delightful pupils (Behaviour judged Outstanding - Ofsted Sept 2016), small classes, extensive grounds and woodlands, and good resources. This would be a superb opportunity for a Music teacher wishing to further progress their career and take our Music Department forward.

Radlett Preparatory School is a co-educational, independent day school in Hertfordshire. The school was moved to its current location in 1980, a Grade II listed Georgian building on a site dating to the 15th Century. Radlett itself is a village with a population of 8,000, located between St. Albans and Borehamwood. There are approximately 300 pupils on the school roll, between the ages of 4-11.

Charitable giving is encouraged at Radlett, teaching students the importance of compassion and caring for this in need. One main charity is chosen each term, including the Royal British Legion, the Red Cross, and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
