Job overview

Looking for a dynamic, versatile music teacher, whose passion for both the formal classroom and the wider life of music in school will increase opportunities for our young people.

The school has a strong focus on educating the whole person and this, combined with the large numbers of very talented students in our midst, presents a wonderful opportunity for the successful applicant. There will be strong, empathetic support from SLT for developing the provision of musical opportunities within the school and a wider team of staff also willing to be involved in order for music to be the heart and soul of the school.

Whilst excellent academic outcomes are essential, the ability to contribute to the wider life of the school will be a significant dimension of the post holder.

We take great pride in our school and you will be well supported in carrying out your duties to enable our students to be selfless, self-assured and successful both in school and beyond our boundaries into society.

The Priory School leads the Salop Teaching Alliance, which also provides exciting career opportunities for our staff.
