Thorpe Hall is a non-selective co-educational day school of 405 pupils from pre-nursery to Year 11. The school is situated on a generous site on the outskirts of Southend-on-Sea and has an excellent reputation as one of the leading independent schools in the area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Music to teach Music to Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. The post is suitable for someone with experience or new to the profession.

Thorpe Hall School is a co-educational, non-selective, independent school located in Southend, Essex. An all-through school providing places to children aged 2-16, Thorpe Hall School was founded in 1925 and has occupied its current 11-acre site since 1989.

Set in 11 acres of semi-rural land, the school's facilities are numerous and include a state-of the art sports and events centre, a Forest School area, a theatre, an extensive sports field, a dedicated music department and a design technology area. With around 450 pupils, Thorpe Hall is a day school only and has no boarding facilities.
