OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Operations to join our operations team.  The role will require you to work across Health & Safety, Catering, Cleaning, and Maintenance with a broad range of skills and experience in these areas, ideally in an education-based environment.  You will be comfortable with cost control and P&L responsibility. This a key role within the college and will require you to lead from the front and be able to manage a large a varied team. The opportunity would suit either an experienced Facilities / Estate Supervisor looking for the next step or an experienced Head of Operations looking for the next challenge.

Involvement and participation with the Operations Department Management Team

Management of the Maintenance staff and their duties

Management of the Cleaning staff and their duties

Management of the Catering staff and their duties

Manage any contract workers that are on-site, ensuring that are fully compliant with all the latest legislation and are fully conversant with the company regulations

REPORTS TO

You will be directly responsible to the Group Director of Operations and will work within the framework set by the Group Director of Operations.
