Head of PE

TLR1

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Head of PE, who is passionate about sport and has the skills to drive both academic and sporting excellence, to join our well established and high performing specialist PE department.

This is a fantastic oppportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner with aspirations to be a senior leader, a current Head of subject looking to make their first move into senior middle leadership or an outstanding Second in Department ready for a bigger challenge.

The successful candidate will be passionate about PE and about instilling a love of for the subject with their team and the James Hornsby students.  They will also be able to achieve the best outcomes for all students as we move into the rigours of teaching a new GCSE curriculum. 

We are looking to appoint a colleague who shares our commitment to high standards of professionalism and academic achievement for every one of our students and who will go the extra mile to help them achieve excellence. If you are an outstanding practitioner with a commitment to high standards and a passion for PE, we would be delighted to hear from you and look forward to receiving an application.

This is a public facing role, so  fluency in English is required.

The James Hornsby School will be joining the Zenith Multi-Academy Trust on 1 December 2017 and therefore your employer will be the Zenith Multi-Academy Trust.
