Due to the promotion of our current Head of PE to Assistant Headteacher there is an exciting vacancy for a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Head of PE who is able to lead a dynamic and supportive department. You will be able to ensure high achievement and the most positive outcomes for all our students and staff.

Ricards Lodge High School is an outstanding and vibrant multi-cultural comprehensive school for girls with a co-educational 6th form, RR6. We have high expectations of our students and provide a dynamic and stimulating environment in which they can learn and develop as individuals.

About Ricards Lodge High School

Ricards Lodge High School is a girls-only, comprehensive secondary school with sixth form situated in Wimbledon, south-west London. It is a community state school and was known as The Wimbledon Day Commercial School when it opened in 1924.

A larger than average secondary school, Ricards Lodge provides 1,200 places for students between the ages of 11 and 19 when fully subscribed.

Ricards Lodge High School has a specialism in the performing arts and has gained the Artsmark Gold Award. The school believes that the risk-taking nature of the arts helps to increase self-esteem and self-confidence, as well as improving students' attitudes to learning.
