We are seeking to appoint a determined, energetic and committed physics specialist with a clear vision of how to develop physics within the curriculum.
Someone who is also:

You will work with colleagues in the STEM team, pushing forward physics across the whole Academy including our thriving 6th Form. The post is part of our highly successful middle leadership group and would be excellent preparation for a range of leadership roles in the future. You will be supported by an experienced Director of Science along with an excellent Subject Lead, Head of Chemistry and Head of Biology.
Our recent Ofsted Inspection (Feb 2018) Stated that the ‘senior team has fostered the development of leadership in others’. They ‘encourage staff to take responsibility and exercise initiative’. The ‘personable and positive approach has helped to unite staff behind a common purpose. The overwhelming majority of staff who responded to the survey issued during the inspection feel proud to work at the school. They agree that leaders do all they can to ensure that the school has a motivated, respected and effective teaching staff’.
The twin specialisms of Engineering & Design and English mean that we place numeracy and literacy at the heart of all we do.
