We are seeking to recruit a Head of Physics who will lead this large and thriving department. Pupil numbers are strong with Physics being a popular subject both at A Level and in the IB Diploma. We are developing good links with the Institute of Physics and are keen to grow our partnerships with industry and universities. We also have a number of staff in the Physics team who are actively engaged in research at different levels and who are facilitators of our in-school research programme. This is an exciting time to join a creative and hardworking team.
The successful candidate must have considerable Sixth Form teaching experience, be able to articulate a clear educational vision and provide dynamic and inspirational leadership. He or she will be an outstanding teacher and possess creativity, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong organisational abilities.
