Our school

Reigate School is an Outstanding, oversubscribed, mixed secondary comprehensive.  Having recently formed a Multi Academy Trust with other local Good and Outstanding schools, we pride ourselves on serving the local community and providing high quality education.  As a teaching school we deliver training and expertise to schools and teachers across the county and we’re constantly looking at ways to innovate and improve.

The team

At Reigate School we value the contribution made by every member of staff.  Teaching is a rewarding profession, but it can also be demanding.  To support teachers we:

• Employ cover supervisors to minimise cover.

• Regularly review the impact marking has on workload.

• Provide support services such as independent counselling and physiotherapy.

• Have outstanding CPD training and NQT provision.

Welcome to Reigate School. It gives us great pleasure to introduce the school to you on behalf of both the governors and the staff.

Reigate School is a large, heavily oversubscribed, 11-16 school.  We are a truly comprehensive and inclusive school, committed to providing the best education we can for the children in our local community.  We have very strong partnerships with other local schools and colleges. Our experienced and dedicated staff and governors work collaboratively in many contexts, including through our Teaching School Alliance.
At Reigate School we have high expectations of our students and strive to ensure that every child achieves academically, socially and personally. We provide children with a balanced curriculum, a happy, stimulating environment and opportunities in abundance.

Children joining us will be individually supported to help them develop into confident young adults with a set of skills and abilities that enable them to make lasting friendships, appreciate diversity in others and ably compete in a global education system or work environment.

We believe that Reigate School is a wonderful school to be part of; the students are delightful and hard-working, the staff and governors are very committed and parents are supportive.  We are extremely proud of our school and what has been achieved.
