A suitably-qualified Russian specialist is required to lead the Russian Department at Westminster School.
You will teach Russian throughout the School and will be responsible for the administration and management of the Russian Department, which will include running the day-to-day business of the Department, managing the Department’s budget, chairing departmental meetings and providing the leadership and direction to foster interest in and enthusiasm for the subject.
There is a steady interest in reading Russian at Westminster School and the Department has enjoyed considerable success at Oxford entrance in particular, while also providing institutions such as Cambridge, UCL and US universities with able students.
The ideal candidate should be confident with instructing native or near-native speakers. The ability to offer a second language is desirable but not essential.
