The Trustees of the Eden Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a new Head of School for Pentland Field School from September 2019.

 

Pentland Field School is an all-through 4-19 special school for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties, including autism.  

The school opened in January 2015 and has expanded to its current roll of 150 pupils. The school has spacious, new, purpose-built and specialist classrooms.  The school was graded as good overall (with outstanding behaviour, personal development and welfare) in its first Ofsted inspection in January 2018. 

We are looking for a Head of School with the skills, confidence and experience to take Pentland Field to greater heights as part of the Eden Academy Trust family of schools.  This position offers a significant opportunity to play a leading role in a MAT that is going through a period of dynamic and exciting change. The new Head of School will receive substantial support and work closely with Perdy Buchanan-Barrow, the school’s Executive Headteacher.
