Job overview
Long Mead Community Primary School is a one-form entry school with an onsite nursery provision. It has around 150 children on roll. The school is part of a Federation (with a nearby Secondary School) with a single Governing body and Executive Headteacher who has strategic oversight of both schools.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a talented and dynamic Head of School from September 2018. As well as having day-to-day oversight of the leadership and management of the school, you will also work closely, with the support of the Executive Headteacher, to develop an exciting, happy, successful and creative school.
This would be an excellent opportunity for an ambitious existing Senior Leader to work alongside the experienced Executive Headteacher to develop excellent skills for further career development as a Headteacher.
Continuing to teach part-time is an important aspect for all the school leaders within the Federation.
An application pack is available from the school website, email nriddle@tonbridgefederation.co.uk or on 01732 353544 EXT 242
