Fox Grove School is an all-through special free school in Leatherhead, Surrey, due to open in September 2021/22 in a purpose-built school building.

Fox Grove will have 152 places for children and young people aged between 4 to 19 with autism, referred to in Surrey as complex social and communication needs (CSCN). We are currently part of the LIFT Partnership Multi Academy Trust, a family of schools who work together to use and share a wide range of expertise and services. The new Head of Fox Grove School will start in post from April 2021, a term prior to the opening of the school. They will have resilience, drive and a proven track record of delivering strong educational outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs. Working together with the Executive Head, this is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring and experienced Deputy Head Teacher, as well as an existing Head Teacher. The successful candidate will receive first-rate leadership development together with a sustained commitment from The Howard Partnership Trust to his or her professional career development, as well as regular coaching and mentoring.

Fox Grove School will:

  • Open in 2021/22 for up to 64 pupils and then grow over four years to educate up to 152 pupils from ages 4 to 19 years old;
  • Provide for pupils who have autism with complex social and communication needs;
  • Benefit from brand new facilities in a purpose-built school.
