Devonshire Junior Academy has an exciting opportunity for a current Senior Leader to join our very successful school as Head of School due to promotion of the previous postholder within our Multi Academy Trust.
The Governors and Executive Head Teacher of Devonshire Junior Academy are looking to appoint a highly effective and dedicated professional to lead Devonshire Junior Academy as Head of School from January 2018. First and foremost, we are looking for an excellent practitioner who is able to lead and inspire our pupils and staff to achieve excellence. This post represents a really exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their leadership skills within a very strong and supportive professional network. The successful candidate will be a strong and knowledgeable primary practitioner with an excellent record of teaching, which includes Key Stage 2.
Working closely with the Executive Head Teacher, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and day to day running of the school. You will have proven experience of Senior Leadership, ideally being a serving Deputy Head Teacher who is looking for the next step in your career – with the support and guidance of an experienced Executive Head Teacher.
