We are seeking to appoint a forward-thinking and dynamic Head of Science to lead our excellent Science and Technology Faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of Biology or Physics up to A level.
The Faculty comprises Biology, Chemistry, Design, Junior Science, Physics and Psychology. Each subject has its own Head of Department. All pupils take three separate sciences to IGCSE. A high proportion of pupils continue studying science to A level and many choose science and technology-related degrees.
The role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with some leadership experience or an experienced Head of Department.
A willingness to contribute to the School’s wide range of co-curricular activities is expected.
The School uses 1-1 technology to enhance teaching and learning.
