We require from September 2018 an enthusiastic, committed classroom practitioner to lead a department of 15 teachers and 6 technicians. Science is a compulsory subject at GCSE. Approximately 25% of the cohort study the triple sciences with the majority studying double science. There are currently 3 sets of Chemistry and Biology and 2 sets of Physics in each of Y12 and Y13. The successful candidate will have the academic, teaching and administrative capability to lead and to develop teaching and learning across the Science department.
Children of the successful candidate will be entitled to a place at the school, in accordance with the Schools Admissions Policy, when you have completed 2 years service.
