Our British curriculum school, International School of Creative Science (ISCS) is looking for a creative, passionate and outstanding Head of Secondary and Sixth Form who value professional development opportunities and a good work-life balance. 

We are looking for exceptionally talented education leaders who through their own evidence and impact of their leadership can demonstrate and ensure that our students achieve outstanding outcomes in their academic and personal/social development.

The successful candidate is expected to provide and lead the strategic direction for the Secondary School, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Principal as mandated by BEAM.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related subjects
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience following the UK National Curriculum and at least 2 years in school administration 
  • Completion (or near completion) of a leadership qualification (NPQSL, NPHQ or a relevant Masters degree)
  • Experience of working in a high achieving school (preferred)
  • Evidence of successful implementation of a range of whole school initiatives, focusing on positive outcomes for pupils
  • Experience of leading a department of phase through accreditation and/or school inspections
