Goresbrook School is an exciting new school that opened in 2016. We are looking to appoint a committed Head of Sixth Form to lead us into a new and exciting stage of Goresbrook’s growth. The successful candidate will understand that establishing a Sixth Form for the first time brings with it a unique and exciting opportunity. The Head of Sixth form will provide clarity and purpose through their leadership, ensuring students get the real option to study at the best universities in this country. They will lead Year 11 pupils as they enter our founding Year 12 cohort and retain an unrelenting focus on ensuring that access the quality of teaching is of the highest possible standard. This is a rare opportunity to shape a Sixth Form for years to come. The ideal candidate will need to be an exceptional teacher, thrive in a fast past environment, by highly personable and relish the chance to build and create a provision that will have a lasting impact on the lives of our students for years to come.
What we offer as a school:

- Year groups of 120 students. We are a small school and pride ourselves on knowing our students
- Very minimum of two hours curriculum time for each subject area allowing teachers to know students next steps
- Weekly in-school CPD, including a tailored NQT programme

We currently have 600 students from year 7 to year 11 and we will continue to grow until we are at full capacity. Next year we open our brand new Sixth Form.
