Following promotion of our previous Head of Sixth Form, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and talented individual with the vision and ability to lead a large and varied community of pupils, parents and staff and to contribute to the further development of the School.

Reporting to the Senior Deputy Head, as Head of Sixth Form you will have overall responsibility for pastoral and academic matters relating to pupils in Years 12 and 13 (the Sixth Form), including the line management of a Senior Tutor, the Head of University Admissions and a team of Sixth Form tutors. You will be expected to embody the School’s ethos and values, be a role model for staff and pupils and contribute to the advancement of the School’s strategy.

This is a truly exciting time in the history of Haberdashers’, with a new strategic plan committed to closer collaboration with the Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls, and the development of the Elstree campus over the next decade.

Applicants should be a good honour graduate of a leading university, be hold QTS and have experience of leading and managing in a successful school environment. You be willing to be fully involved in all aspects of the School’s busy life. A track record of outstanding teaching is essential, but no specific specialist subject is sought. A willingness to contribute to the School’s extensive co-curricular programme is also required.
