Based in Salisbury Wiltshire, Godolphin has been educating girls for almost three centuries and is proud of its heritage. Head of Sixth Form
Full Time - Permanent
Godolphin Teacher Scale Points 6 – 9: £36,000 to £41,369
Plus 35 – 48 Responsibility Points: £8,750 to £12,000
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic individual to join our thriving community. The Head of Sixth Form is the “figurehead” for the Sixth Form, the most prestigious year groups in the School. The Head of Sixth Form sets the tone for these year groups and oversees the pastoral and academic wellbeing of the Sixth Form. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified individual with an exceptional reputation and proven experience. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a 50% timetable. The Head of Sixth Form is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the Sixth Form Centre with support from the House staff and Sixth Form Centre Tutors as well as promoting the Sixth Form at Godolphin. In doing so the Head of Sixth Form ensures that there is an excellent work ethic which will enable the students to achieve their full potential The Head of Sixth Form will be a member of the Senior Management Team reporting directly to the Head and contributing to the strategic direction of the school, helping to shape its future.
