The Perse is one of the country’s leading co-educational independent day schools, providing a high quality education to pupils aged 3-18 in Cambridge.

The School is looking to appoint an inspirational, highly-qualified Head of Strings with oversight of the Music Department’s vibrant, bustling string provision on an employed basis; and an experienced self-employed teacher of violin (with viola, if offered) to join our dynamic team of 30 peripatetic teachers. The closing date for applications for both roles is Wednesday 19 May at midday, but applications will be considered as they are received; The Perse School reserves the right to make an appointment before the closing date. Interviews will be scheduled for the week commencing Monday 24 May.
