From September 2018 we wish to appoint a passionate and aspirational Head of Technology – Product Design Specialist to join our school. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in raising attainment. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to lead and inspire others around you.
You will lead a team of three teachers and two technicians within the Faculty, working together to further develop a highly motivated and aspirational department with a focus on high standards of teaching. Ultimately, you will help further improve outcomes for students within this department.

Stockland Green School is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational secondary academy for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Erdington, just outside Birmingham in the West Midlands, and there are 723 pupils on its roll.
The secondary school converted to academy status in 2012 and is part of the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership, a respected multi-academy trust consisting of four primary schools and three secondary schools, along with other learning centres.

In English, students achieve exceptionally well because this subject is taught consistently well. The Arthur Terry Multi Academy trust has delivered effective teachers’ professional development, and this underpins the improvements in teaching quality.
