We are a major force in global education providing a range of services including school system reform, inspection and evaluation, teacher and leadership training and curriculum design.  We now seek an experienced educationalist to join our organisation in the role of Head of UK Independent Schools. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this individual will manage our three schools in the UK overseeing teaching and learning across the group to secure high levels of progress and attainment for all pupils, promoting excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils. 

The appointed candidate will combine a track record of successful independent school leadership with excellent experience of monitoring, evaluation and performance management. Strong strategic abilities, first-class relationship building skills and the gravitas to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments are all essential, as is a genuine resonance with the aims and values of the Education Development Trust. 

This role is offered on a part time basis (three days per week). 

It will be based at the Education Development Trust head office in Reading, but will involve regular travel to our three independent schools.  In return we offer a competitive salary, car allowance, a generous holiday allowance, a matched company pension scheme and a range of other voluntary benefits.
