Job overview

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious leader to the post of Head of Mathematics for the next academic year at one of the highest performing non-selective schools in the whole of Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to lead our team of dedicated staff across a comprehensive, inclusive and faith-based setting.

This position is open to both experienced Heads of Mathematics as well as exceptional Mathematics teachers eager to further their career at our innovative and over-subscribed school.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, capable of delivering inspirational lessons to students from KS3 to KS5, ensuring that all students, across the whole department, are appropriately challenged, supported and are achieving their very best.

Given the importance of this role at St John’s, the successful candidate will be supported by either the Associate Headteacher or Headteacher throughout the course of the next academic year. It is envisaged that this will prove to be an excellent CPD opportunity for a leader interested in the further development of their own career.

We would welcome any potential applicants to visit or telephone the school for an informal discussion about this position.

An application form can be downloaded from thr school website www.stjohnscs.com

Please send completed forms to Julia@stj.kent.sch.uk
