Headteacher

The children, staff and governors of Camestone School are seeking a committed and passionate headteacher to take us on the next phase of our journey. 

Our headteacher of 12 years is leaving us for new challenges, so we are seeking an inspirational leader of teaching and learning with proven leadership experience, to join our caring values-based school.

We are a popular and forward thinking primary school serving children from our local community. We provide a nurturing experience for our pupils with a focus on well being and high standards. We believe in a strong relationship between home and school and that working together with families is the best way to ensure success for our children.

We are seeking someone:

• With a proven track record of effective school leadership, whether as a serving headteacher, deputy headteacher or experienced senior leader within the primary phase
• Who exhibits excellent leadership and strategic skills and the ability to lead an effective team
• Who shares the same values as our school community
• Who has the ability to support, inspire and empower us
• Who demonstrates a clear vision and ability to build on our success to enable our children to flourish and thrive

We welcome informal visits to the school (in or outside of school time) or informal virtual meetings to discuss the role, subject to Covid risk assessments.
