Required for Bourn Church of England Primary Academy
The Governors of Bourn Church of England Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an inspirational and forward thinking Head Teacher who will bring a fresh perspective to a well-established and highly successful school. This happy and vibrant school sits very much at the heart of the local community and provides inclusive education of the highest standard. Our Christian ethos is firmly embedded within the school values and the children are taught respect and consideration for others in an environment that enables them to thrive academically, physically and spiritually. The Governors, who have plans to develop the school further, are strongly supportive of the staff without encroaching on the Head Teacher’s responsibility to lead the school.
Our new Head Teacher will have high expectations and a commitment and vision for creatively building on the current success of the school. The Governors are seeking an outstanding practitioner who has proven leadership experience with excellent communication skills designed to engage with children, staff, parents and other stakeholders. The successful applicant will also be able to lead the school strategically on to the next stage of our journey.
Bourn Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
