Charlton Mackrell School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and forward thinking Headteacher to build on its current reputation and lead it into the next stage of its development. The School is situated in open countryside on the edge of the village and near the market town of Somerton. 

The full-time role will involve a small, regular teaching commitment each week. However, whilst seeking a full-time appointment in the first instance, the Governors are open to applications for a part time headship role. Please contact the School to discuss this if you are interested.

  • Lead on the further development of partnership[s] with other Primary Schools and into MAT membership
