A unique Headship opportunity has arisen in the beautiful surroundings of Braunton, North Devon, to lead a school which achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted in June 2017.

Caen Community Primary School is looking for a new and ambitious Headteacher to lead the school to become exceptional, providing an inspiring, creative and safe environment in which all our children will thrive.

You will inspire, engage and empower staff, children, parents and community partners alike, embrace change and be able to create and deliver a strategy to achieve excellence in all dimensions of our school life.

You will have an unstinting focus on supporting improvement for each and every one of our children and be able to draw insights from your ability to interpret and utilise performance and financial data in doing so.

You will have a proven track record of leading, managing and motivating every member of a successful school team.

You will ensure our staff and our children achieve their full potential by maintaining a knowledge of the latest evidence on effective practice and its application and by creating synergy through partnership with other schools and organisations.
