Harbour Primary and Nursery School is a local authority school, maintaining its OFSTED rating of “Good with outstanding features” in 2019.

Harbour Primary and Nursery School has just under 500 children aged 2-11, and is located in the coastal East Sussex town of Newhaven, near Brighton. The Board of Governors seek to appoint a new Headteacher from January 2022.

You will have proven senior leadership skills with the ambition, creativity and skill set to build on our school’s many strengths and provide the strategic vision. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to inspire staff, parents and pupils to aim for excellence across all aspects of the school.

You will encourage our children to “Always be Curious” and embrace the motto “Every Child, every chance, every day”.

Salary: Group 4 school with leadership pay range of level 18-24.
