St Thomas Church of England School is a happy, successful and inclusive Church of England Infant School at the heart of the vibrant and diverse town of Brentwood.

The Governors are looking for a talented, innovative and experienced leader with a track record of outstanding school leadership to build on the school's recognition by Ofsted as an Outstanding School and the Church of England as an Excellent School. 

You will have:  

  • A commitment to supporting the ethos and Christian vision of our school and the Church of England's vision for Education. (It is desirable that you are a practicing Christian).  
  • A genuine excitement about church school education.  
  • A passion for delivering high quality education to all children and supporting their families. 
  • A proven record of outstanding school leadership skills.  
  • A commitment to developing the potential of every child.  
  • A commitment to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of children and staff.  
  • The ability to identify and take advantage of further opportunities for improved local partnerships, as they arise.  
  •  NPQH or be prepared to gain this qualification.
