The Hemel Hempstead School is a mixed ability maintained Foundation school for boys and girls aged 11-18. We have 1139 students, including 209 in the Sixth Form. There are six forms of entry, increasing to seven forms from September 2019. A Good school with ambitions to be Outstanding.

The secondary school, situated in Hemel Hempstead has approximately 1,139 students, including 209 in the Sixth Form. It’s sixth form is part of Partnership – consisting of three secondary schools.
Formerly The Hemel Hempstead Grammar School, The Hemel Hempstead School opened in 1931, converting to a comprehensive school in 1971. In 2016, the school was identified as good by Ofsted.
