Job overview

St Martins, a part of The Frays Academy Trust has an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding professional to join our team as Headteacher, leading our school to its next levels of success.

Salary: £64,513 - £70,712 per annum inc. Outer London Weighting (L16 – L20)

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2021

St Martin’s CE Primary School is currently a two-form entry school with a 60 place Nursery and a Specialist Resource Provision for pupils with complex ASD. As a school fulfilling local authority basic need, the school is now in its 6th year of operation and has another year before it is fully open to all year groups.

Located within extensive and well-maintained grounds, our school which was purpose built in 2015 is located within the socio-economically and culturally diverse community of West Drayton in the southern part of the London Borough of Hillingdon, providing excellent links to Crossrail (at West Drayton), the M25, M40 and M4. This vacancy comes at a time when the local area is receiving a great deal of infrastructure and housing development where we hope to establish ourselves as a “school of choice”.

The successful candidate for this position will have the overall responsibility for the operational management and performance of St Martin’s Primary School, in conjunction with the CEO of the Trust and will play a key role in the strategic leadership of the school and the Multi Academy Trust as a whole.

We can offer the successful candidate:

  • first-rate leadership development;
  • a sustained commitment from the Multi Academy Trust to their professional and career development;
  • as well as regular coaching and mentoring from the executive leaders in Frays.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional senior professional who can demonstrate a substantial track record of leadership success, particularly with regards to pupil performance and progress in a challenging, urban setting.

If you would like to have an informal discussion with the Executive Headteacher of Frays, Mr Cole please contact Joe Impey at Crinkle Recruitment by calling 01895717088 and we will be happy to arrange an in-person school visit or a zoom call with you.

Closing Date: Sunday 09 May at 23:59, early applications are encouraged.

Shortlisting: w/c Monday 10 May.

Interview Dates: Tuesday 18 May and Wednesday 19 May (two-day interview process).

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
