The school is in Mirfield, which is a small town situated between Leeds and Huddersfield, with a reputation for educational excellence.

We are looking for someone to take us forward in the next stage of our development.  Our new Headteacher will be a proven leader who is pioneering, courageous and passionate about teaching and learning and who is committed to an inclusive education.  Governors are seeking someone with the highest integrity, commitment and passion to ensure that every child reaches their full potential academically, socially and as young citizens who value and contribute to our school community. We want someone who has the skills to get the best out of all pupil groups whilst remaining committed to pupil wellbeing.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with drive, vision and ambition to lead the school onto the next steps of its journey.  We are a forward thinking governing body who will provide constructive challenge and support.

You will be supported by a hardworking, highly competent, dynamic leadership team, staff and governing body; and will work with pupils who are recognised as being well behaved, well mannered, hardworking and keen to learn.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitments.  All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check.  A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
