Due to the retirement of our wonderful Headteacher the governors of Warden Hill Infant School are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Headteacher in January 2020, or April 2020 for the right candidate. Based in a culturally diverse town, we are a four form entry infant school with 353 pupils on roll. As a large, highly regarded school, we offer an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced candidate with proven leadership and management experience to drive our ongoing success.

Our new Headteacher will inspire and bring out the best in staff; be resilient, innovative and lead the development of the school’s curriculum, ensuring all our pupils have access to wide and varied experiences and outstanding teaching. Experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential to provide clear leadership in guiding and nurturing our youngest pupils through their first years of education.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They will be able to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders and strive to further improve standards in our school. They should be approachable, reflective and forward thinking.
