Located in the heart of London, Wetherby Preparatory School is a hugely successful independent day school for boys aged 7-13 years.  

Wetherby Prep is part of a family of schools which can trace their origins back to the foundation of Wetherby School in 1951.  The Prep school started in 2004 and has since grown to over 400 boys, and is now established as one of the most sought after prep schools in London and in the UK.  Although a small number of boys leave at 11+, the main exit point is at 13+ and the boys typically go on to the most selective day and boarding secondary schools in London and the Southeast, including to Wetherby Senior School.

Following the appointment of Nick Baker to the role of Head of The Beacon in Buckinghamshire from August 2022 after 14 years of outstanding service as Head of Wetherby Prep, the Alpha Plus Group now seeks to appoint an inspirational Head who can make a real impact in the continuing development of Wetherby Prep School over the next decade.
