The children, staff, parents and Governors of Gobowen Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and experienced leader. You may be an existing Headteacher or experienced Deputy looking to further your career and help us to take the next step in leading our school from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’.

Gobowen Primary School is a successful and friendly school situated in North Shropshire near the Welsh border. The school has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and benefits from supportive Governors, parents and staff as well as enthusiastic and positive children. It is our vision that the school should continue in its approach to the educational and emotional wellbeing of its pupils, and continue to embed the desire for life-long learning for all.

We are looking for an outstanding leader who is passionate about teaching and learning, and who can build on the existing strengths of the school. The successful candidate will be someone who can inspire a love of learning amongst pupils, parents and the wider community.

We are looking for a Headteacher who will have:

• The ability to establish and develop strong relationships with the school and wider community.
