The relocation package is negotiable upon appointment.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to join our Academy Trust in the role of Headteacher at Warren School.

Warren is an all-age school for pupils with severe to profound learning difficulties. Pupils are aged from 4 – 19 years with a diverse range of educational needs including autism, physical disabilities, speech language and communication, visual and hearing needs.

We are a nurturing and therapeutic provision with a commitment to maximising pupil learning and progress towards independence.

The Trustees are looking for an experienced leader within the field of special education. Warren is a rapidly improving school which needs a vibrant and enthusiastic professional ready to continue the school improvement agenda at pace.

We seek a visible leader who will be able to bring together the wide range of stakeholders involved in meeting our pupils’ needs. The Headteacher will benefit from being part of the Suffolk Special School Heads community, which is an active team who work closely together to impact upon both Regional and National aspects of Special Education.

Warren is based in Lowestoft, Suffolk, which is a welcoming place to work and live, and we encourage prospective candidates to visit our school.

We recognise the unique contribution each member can make to our school. We value and encourage diversity in our workforce recruitment and are committed to promoting equality and eliminating discrimination.
