We are seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and creative Headteacher or Co-Headteachers who can drive innovation, enhance pupils’ academic achievement and benefit from opportunities for personal development. Our new Headteacher(s) will lead our school on a journey of continuous improvement, will fully engage with the community and always strive to meet the needs of, and maximise opportunities for, all our pupils. We are looking for a Headteacher / Co-Headteachers who:

  • can demonstrate substantive successful senior leadership in a primary school
  • has experience across the primary range, including EYFS and has a curriculum strength or strong interest, enabling them to support in teaching and extra-curricular activities where appropriate
  • demands ambitious standards for all pupils regardless of disadvantage, background or starting point
  • has the experience, drive and passion to make a real and notable difference to both pupils and the wider community in raising standards of achievement
  • can develop leadership and management at all levels; to create a culture of professionalism
  • who promotes resilience and independence, encouraging children to thrive on the positives of their educational journey.

Additional Information

Trimley St Mary Primary School is located in the growing village of Trimley St Mary on the outskirts of Felixstowe and within easy reach of the A14. It is a larger than average community school dating back to 1904 and has grown as the village has grown with a strong sense of belonging, care and support.
