Headteacher

Following the retirement of the headteacher, Beatrice Tate School requires a dynamic inspirational leader to lead our successful special school through its next phase of development. The school is expanding, and this will be supported by a major building programme. The governing body of Beatrice Tate School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated leader who will build on existing strengths and continue to inspire and lead so that the school continues to be outstanding.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who:

• Has a clear vision, strong leadership, and effective management skills

• Understands the needs of vulnerable young people and their families

• Has experience of partnership working to achieve successful
       outcomes

• Has experience and sound understanding of budget management

• An exceptionally enthusiastic and committed leader to manage and
       motivate the children and staff

• Knowledge and ambition to ensure that pupils achieve as much as
       they can

• Has the ability to manage a major building programme as part of the
       school expansion
