Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Outwood Primary Academy Woodlands is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in the afternoons covering whole classes across all year groups.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 1.00pm to 3.15pm, plus an additional 1.25 hours for planning which is arranged by the Principal. The role is term time only plus 2 additional days.

The successful candidate will need to effectively work with teachers, SLT and support staff in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources in order to supervise whole classes and to support the wider inclusion of pupils across all academy life.

You must be able to demonstrate that you currently work against the HLTA standards either by formal qualification or evidence of significant experience.
